The advert that I will be talking about is Garnier (hair dye for women). This advert is suitable for only females, from ages 25+. The audience demographic has a range of different audience for example A/B/C1/C2 this means people that earn a lot more money and also have a lot more time on their hands for example lawyers, doctors, teachers, nurses etc, The reason why I have picked these ranges is because they have money and have a lot of time on their hands so they can go out and experiment and treat themselves to all different types of products. They make this advert look very interesting because they have used a actor off of Sex in the City, Sarah Jessica Parker the reason why I think that this advert looks interesting and people will buy this product because she's in her 40s, she still looks good, she's loves it and the product still works for her. Also if people see actors that inspire them, they are going to be convinced that this is the best product for them to buy it.
Advert 2
The advert that I will be talking about is Cadburys Chocolate (Dairy Milk). This advert is suitable for males and females, from ages 7- 40, the reason why I've given this advert the age range between this two ages is because when you get a certain age you don't really like to eat chocolate and you don't find things as funny as you would if your a teenager. The audience demographic has a range of different audience for example B/C1/C2/D/E the reason why I have chosen this range is because the advert is funny, interesting and also chocolate isn't expensive so anyone can buy it for example students, unemployed, drivers, plumber etc. The reason why I have picked to talk about this advert is because I find it very funny and its interesting because they have picked children to sale their product which shows that once you have a glass of the Cadburys chocolate you will have half full a joy.
Advert 3
The advert that I will be talking about is Evain water. This advert is suitable for males and females, I would say the age range is about from the ages 7+ because everyone had to drink water in their life and there isn't a age limit to drink water but I would say from the age of 7 because I have to give a age. The audience demographic has a range of different audience for example A/B/C1/C2/D/E the reason why I have picked everyone as an audience is because everyone drinks water and it's not like they can't effort it because it's only 50p for a small bottle and £1 a big bottle. I picked to talk about this advert because it is strange, babies are roller skating around listen to music while dancing. They are trying to make Evain look like it's the best water in the world.
The advert that I will be talking about isFairy Up Liquid, the reason why I have chosen to talk about this advert is because it's got a lot of persuasive techniques for example there is repetition of the word soft, also they repeat the brand name. They use family values, this means that they have picked a family in the advert to try and sell their product. The reason why repetition of the word 'soft' is a persuasive technique is because it makes you realise how soft Fairy Up Liquid really is. The reason why they repeat the brand name is because they want you to remember the product brand. Also they have made this advert look interesting because they have used a family to sell their product, it appeals to the audience for example 20+ because its for washing up the dishes and people who are that age have their own houses and that's what the advert is showing. The product USP (unique selling point) is that Fairy Up Liquid is supposed to keep your hand soft during and after washing up. The reason why its good to have a unique selling point is because it persuades you to buy their products over anyone else's.
Advert 2
This advert is about Carlsberg beer. The main persuasive technique is to show a rich luxurious life style which taps into our aspirational tendencies. This means we associate how good the apartment is with how good Carlsberg beer is, and you would want to be like the people in the advert because they are showing to be rich and friendly, and they also drink Carlsberg beer so we associate that with how we would want to be. The product USP (unique selling point) is that it fits in with the lifestyle that we wish we had.
Advert 3
The advert that I'm going to talk about is moneysupermarket.com. The persuasive techniques they use are repetition of the website (moneysupermarket.com), and they use a millionaire celebrity Peter Jones which promotes successful career and you can trust what he is saying because he is talking about money and he knows what he is talking about he knows how to handle his money. The product USP (unique selling point) there are more deals on moneysupermarket.com than on any other websites which makes it seem convenient and is good value.
What's the definition of TV Advertising? Well TV stands for Television and a television is something that you can find different sorts of information for example; news, buy products, watch films, football etc. So TV Advertising is an advert which can be 10 to 60 seconds long which is shown on TV, for example in some adverts there will be different types of products which will be shown on TV and get peoples attention so they can see what the product is all about and see if they want to buy the product, with each advert they have all got different ranges of target audience.
I have chosen to talk about the cadburys advert which advertises chocolate using a gorilla while playing the drums. The reason why i chose this advert is because its unique, its got a character of a gorilla which the audience can relate to and remember this advert.
The 4 characteristics which are common in TV advert:
Persuading
Memorable
Repartition
different types of audience on each program
It is estimated that the average American consumes 3 thousand adverts every day. We see adverts every day, everywhere we go for example: busses, television, supermarkets, internet, telephone booths, tubes, buildings etc. The second most uttered word in the world is coca cola. This shows how adverting effects us. Sometimes advertisers use characters this is successful because in some adverts its easier for the audience to relate to the characters instead of the products, for examples: people cant relate to frosted flakes, asparagus and cigarettes but on the other hand people can relate to green giant etc. There is good and bad in advertising. Advertising don't always work for example: products that have been made may not get to the market. Advertising was fine but the more it got shown around the world , people started to get bored of seeing it all the time so the more people saw the product it gets boring after a while and then the products failed, they lose lots of money.
Research is the most important thing in the world because you need to know basic information and the way you find out information is through research. you will always need to do research in your lives, because you need to know what you are talking bout or just have some useful information. for example if your selling a product you need to do some research on the product so you can have information on the product so you can sell it at the end of it. Advertising uses different methods which are effective on research for example: repartition, memorable, characters, comedy, eye catching and persuading.
Adverts stop us turning over to different channels because its pyrotechnic this means a brilliant performance or display (bang) its entertainment, funny, fun, music, interesting etc. Advertising has a future, for example computers, internet - youtube adverts, Radio - audio advertising and banner adverts around the sides of website.
The targets that i have met are setting up my blog, introducing my video profile, learning how to use video equipment, writing a script, story baord and planing my filming. Also i had to do mind maps, key terms, learn how to edit using final cut pro adding music and effects to my footage then uploading it up to youtube and my blog, i had to get peoples feed back on what they threy throught about my video, then write a report on this whole assignment and complete this assignment with a profoilo.
The strategies i have used to complete this assignment are dont get stressed out, take a break every 45 mintues, shhare ideas with class mates and also ask people for feed back so i know what people opinions are and see if i could change it to do better than i already have.
the things that i have learnt about myself is that i learn from my mistakes also i like to experience different things in which it could look in different waysso i could change my work that is good into better. the thing that i have enjoyed most about this assingment is the editing. i had to edit the footage which i filmed and make it into my own video about my myself and I. i got stressed out but never gave up becuase i enjoy editing once i got stuck into the editing i just got on with it it didnt even take me that long wish i had a longer footage to edit. i also enjoyed the little tasks that was set in this assignment becuase they were stright forword and easy.
the thing that i hhve learnt about myself which has motivated me so much on this project is the editing, i find it very interesting and fun because i know how to use the softwear. the thing that furstrates me the most is when nothing goes the way i plan it to go or wants it to go i get angry and normally give up but for this assingment i stayed very strong and was very happy with what i produced because i had to go out and film my footage three times because ieither lost my footage or you couldnt hear my voice over the busy road.
in the future i will be more fourced and i wont get angry or frustrated if ive got a problem i will try and solve my problem like an adult and do it very responable because i want to achieve good grade so i can go to uni and get a good job when im older
The aspects of my video profile that I am most proud of is the shots because I have used variety of shots which include; body shots, close up, long shot and 360 degree pan. I am also proud of the music because it fits into the genre of my video, I also like the scenes and effects which make my video seem professional.
The aspects of my video that I think I could improve on would be the sound of my voice for example in some parts of my video when I’m talking you can’t hear me, all you can hear is the traffic in the background or the wind. I also would have kept the camera stable in some of my footage because it would off looked better if it was a smoother motion.
The things that I would do differently next time is I would use different equipment such as a camera, I would use a high definition camera which would have more quality and will look better on the big screens. I would use a tripod next time so I can have a still footage because in some of my video it was all over the place and don't look like it's a professional, this is my first project that I have worked on so I will keep learning from each assignment that will be set. I would also use a boom mic because at the end of my video you couldn't really hear me talking all you could hear was the busy roads, also I would use different locations for example go out side my school and have a bit of a footage there. My video was basic and thats what I think I would changed next time, by setting my targets higher and make it a bit more harder.
I think if I put more music into my footage it would of looked more professional because then it would have music in the background buh also have a voice over by me talking. I would also have made my voice sound a bit more clearer so everyone could hear me.
I am very happy with the footage I have made and very happy with the feedback that i got from my class mates they said that i didn't really have to change anything about my video they just gave me good feedback.

Pictures of the footage that we took
List two websites that give you copyright free music:
Youtube
Mp3 Convertor
List a Website where you can find free or low fee photographs:

Explain what a location release for, is and why it is needed for filming?
A location release form is a binging contract between the photographer and the owners of the private property within or upon which a photograph was taken.
What is a contributor release form and why is it required?
This is a permit form it is very important as without them you will not be able to show your film to anyone, or enter it into the Film Nation Competition.
I have been given a task to complete, I have to analyse in detail two example of Viral Marketing Videos and two examples of User Generated Videos.
I'm going to talk about two of Viral Marketing Videos.
Viral Marketing Videos
Awareness Test (Moonwalking Bear)
I have chosen to write an analysis on this video, its called Awareness Test (Moonwalking Bear).
This is the ULR for this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=47LCLoidJh4
The reason why I picked to right about this video is because I find it very interesting, its also eye catching and very confusing to watch.
In this video there are a group of people that start playing catch, its two different groups one white and one black. Before the video starts you get told to count how many passes the white team do in the video, then the video start and you start counting how many they catch half way through the video it stop and tells you that the white team do 13 catches but did you see the moon walker bear?. So then it plays back to you and instead of watching the white team everyone looks out for the moon walking bear.
The point of this video is testing how good your eyes are, and to say that you can miss any little thing when your contrasted on one thing when you should beware of everything. The most important point they are trying to make is to watch out for cyclist, because you can never see cyclist and there's a lot of cyclist getting hurt or getting killed.
The target audience for the advert is really for everyone but most important for drivers. They just need to look out for cyclist. The digital platform for this advert is that it appears on television for about 30 seconds and also appears on the internet.
Dove Evolution
I have chosen to write an analysis on this video, its called the Dove Evolution.
I found this advert on the internet. This is the URL http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iYhCn0jf46U where you can find the video. The reason why I picked to right about this video is because I find it very interesting, and it proves a point that women shouldn't have to use layers of make-up and keep there hair perfect just to fit into societies perception of beauty.
In this video there is a girl sitting down looking into a camera, waiting for her make-over. They show us step by step in how she would look at the end, Once they finished her make-over they took looks of different pictures and picked the best one and then put it on Photoshop to make the girl stand out than what she really did. They edited the picture to an extend where the image looks nothing like the girl at the start of the video and they stuck it up on a board trying to make people by their products.
I think the main point of this video was to see if people would stop and by there products, but also I think it is to show girls/woman that nobody really looks like the finished touch of magazine/pictures etc.. It stenotype young people because everyone wants to look like a model or super star, young people go on diets and get them self ill just so that they can try and look like pictures in magazines but as you have just seen in this video even if you look beautiful they still put it in Photoshop to edit the pictures to try and make it look even better but they don't realise that they are making there products looks fake because they never turn out to be the same as on someone else that has brought there products.
The target audience is mainly for female because its about make-overs and how you can look for being one thing to another. The digital platform for this advert is that it appears on television for about 30 seconds and also appears on the internet.
Now I'm going to talk about two User Generated Videos
User Generated Videos
Noah
I got told I had to write an analysis on this video, its called Noah.
This is the URL where the video can be seen: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6B26asyGKDo
This video is so boring, too long and parenthetic, I don't understand why somebody would take picture every day of their life for SIX years and do you want to know the funniest thing about this video, well he don't look any different from the first picture he ever took from the last picture he will ever take.the music is really boring as well.
This video is about a boring man that doesn't have a life and would sit there everyday for Six years taking picture of him self then uploading it to YouTube. I think the point he was trying to make was he didn't look any different from the first day of his project to last day.
The target audience for the advert is really for people that have got no life's and think he is interesting. The digital platform for this advert would just appear on the internet for lots of views.
Tea Party
I had to write an analysis on this video, its called Tea Party.
The video is about a tea party with American prep school students. They made a hip hop video which uses wealthy Americans socialites that copy rap music but use their own lyrics to advertise Smimoff. The video is a parody of a hip hop video which uses the theme of a hip hop video but the content is different for example: women are fully clothed but are dancing in hip hop videos, instead of having champagne they have Smimoff, they were playing tennis, the location is different its in a nice quiet area.
The target market that this video would be aimed is both for men and women that are aged between 18–30 years old. It’s also forces for people that drink.
The digital platform for this music video would appear on the internet, maybe it would appear on TV on a music channels.
The purpose of this video is that they are making a hip hop music video, they are promoting Smimoff and all different types of smimoff. They are trying to make people buy or drink smimoff instead of wine, champagne.
Describe and explain the meaning of each term give examples where appropiate.
